Mr. Gopal Lal Rajora is a PhD student at the Institute for Research and Technology (IIT), and the Engineering School of the Comillas Pontifical University, Madrid (Spain) with main supervisor of Professor Miguel Ángel Sanz Bobi. He is also a guest PhD student with KTH the Royal Institute of Technology and the RCAM group with supervision of Professor Lina Bertling Tjernberg. The main focus for the research is on the Artificial Intelligence field applied to diagnosis and maintenance and asset management with applications for power transmission and distribution systems.

Mr. Gopal Lal Rajora has been working within the ATTEST Project funded by the European Commission, aims at developing and operationalising a modular open-source toolbox comprising a suite of innovative tools to support transmission TSOs/DSOs operating, maintaining and planning the energy systems of 2030 and beyond in an optimised and coordinated manner, considering technical, economic and environmental aspects.
