The 18th International Conference on Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems (PMAPS 2024) brings together researchers, engineers, and technologists from academia, government, and industry for an interactive discussion on the latest advances in Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems.
The technical committee of PMAPS 2024 seeks tutorial submissions related to, but not limited to, the following topics of interest.
Hosting capacity considering uncertainties in sources and demands
Distributed resources to enhance power system reliability and resiliency
Forecasting in power industries with high penetration of intermittent generation and loads|
Reliability for system planning, operation, control and protection
Probabilistic assessment in power market
Stochastic optimisation and simulation
Uncertainties in power system state estimation
Uncertainties in simulation
Probabilistic methods in fault analysis of power systems
Risk assessment associated with different events in electrical power systems
Extreme event analysis
Reliability standards and guidelines development
