WELCOME !

On Behalf of the PMAPS International Steering Committee and the Local Organising Committee, we cordially invite you to attend the 18th International Conference on Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems, PMAPS 2024.

The conference is technically sponsored by the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) and co-organized by Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and IEEE New Zealand North Section.

PMAPS 2024 will be an international forum on several technical themes.

PMAPS 2024 will give individuals working in industry and academia a great opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and discuss the results of their practical experiences, research and development work in the areas of probabilistic modelling and efficient computational and mathematical methods to deal with inherent uncertainties in power systems.

To acknowledge and encourage excellence in power system uncertainty research by students, the Roy Billinton Award will be awarded. Eligibility for the award is restricted to papers which are first-authored by a student.

We are looking forward to meeting you in June 2024.

The dates for the 2024 International Conference on Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems (PMAPS) 2024 are 24th – 26th June 2024.

PMAPS is the leading forum for engineers and scientists worldwide to share and discuss their experience, ideas, and research on probabilistic methods applied to power systems.

The theme of PMAPS 2024 is “Uncertainties in power systems: current context, challenges, and future trends”.

The technical programme includes plenary sessions, panel sessions, parallel paper sessions, parallel forum sessions, and a student poster session.
